Imazamox 70% WDG

Imazamox 70% WDG is absorbed through the roots and foliage of susceptible weeds. It is designed for early post-emergence use in field peas, soybeans and specified imazamox-tolerant crops in the Prairie provinces.

· Controls both annual grasses and broadleaf weeds.

· Low-use-rate water-dispersible granular formulation.

· Fits key Prairie pulse and imazamox-tolerant oilseed crops.

Apply once per year after weeds have emerged. In Prairie crops, apply at 21 or 29 g/ha, according to the weed spectrum, in 100 L/ha of water with MERGE adjuvant at 0.5% v/v. Apply by ground only and follow the crop and weed-stage directions on the label.

Field peas, soybeans, imazamox-tolerant canola, imazamox-tolerant lentils, imazamox-tolerant sunflowers and imazamox-tolerant Canola Quality Brassica juncea.

Green and yellow foxtail, wild oats, barnyard grass, Persian darnel, Japanese brome, volunteer cereals, kochia, cleavers, lamb's-quarters, wild mustard, wild buckwheat, redroot pigweed, Russian thistle, stinkweed and other labelled weeds. Some weeds are suppression claims only.

Glyphosate Resistant Kochia

Since kochia cross-pollenates easily, is a tumbleweed, and has wind-blown pollen, it is difficult to know if the glyphosate resistance found in western Canada was introduced from elsewhere, or if it evolved independently at the various sites already confirmed.    Learn More >>

Spray early: Economics of early weed control

Early in-crop weed control will yield more than late control almost all the time. Early-emerging weeds tie up nutrients and moisture valuable to the crop. They also out-compete the crop for sunlight if their leaves cover canola seedlings.    Learn More >>
